Taking Ownership of Your Work

Make Associates Proud by Doing Good Outside the Company

As you know, PCI embraces its notthebigcompany culture and places clients and collaborators at the core of its success. We believe in making our seven driving values visible in all aspects of our work.

We think people are our greatest asset. Our associates are the ones who make PCI a great place to work. That’s why it’s our priority to make them proud by providing opportunities where they can do good outside the company.

When we hire, we’re looking for people who have a passion for life, are optimistic, interested in constantly learning and growing, proactive and trust that persistence and a strong work ethic are the keys to success. We like investing in our people’s dreams and make them feel they are a part of something bigger, that together we’re contributing to creating a better, more sustainable world.

“It’s important to me to know that I’m not just another person, just someone filling the seat, that the company, my coworkers, my superiors, everyone, that we’re all interested in one another. I enjoy being a part of this company and doing the things that we do – Hearts & Hammers, Career Day for Uplift Academy, the Angel Tree around the holidays – all the support that we provide for others,” says Sherry Thompson, PCI Associate.

Interested in creating a great place to work? Put your people first! Talk to them. Find out what’s important to them, what tugs at their heart, what it is that they want to be involved in, what they would like your company to assist them with. When both clients and collaborators feel they are understood and looked after, they tend to replicate that behavior.

Look into different organizations or volunteer opportunities where the members of your company could give back. See which ones are aligned with your values and decide from there what the best ways to collaborate are.

Remember, all individuals enjoy contributing and giving back. It’s up to you to create a context where they can contribute inside and outside your company.
